  PROJECTS Face Detector App Single Page Application that connects to a machine learning API to examine images. Front end built with React. RESTful API on Node.js server and SQL database for user registration ▪ Developed user registration, login, and main feature components with React to create fast and responsive SPA ▪ Built an API using Node.js and REST principles that performs logic and returns data to front end in JSON format ▪ Created PostgreSQL database to store, update, and retrieve user information ▪ Encrypted sensitive user password data before sending, storing as a secure hash ▪ Created flow of communication between the app and the external machine-learning ClarifaiAPI, sending user inputs and generating a visual representation of the response for the user to see Personal Site Blazing fast portfolio site powered by GatsbyJS that dynamically generates pages and updates content ▪ Queries content from ContentfulCMS using GraphQL and dynamically generates the site using GatsbyJS on top of React to create pages and components without hard-coding information. Deployed to Netlify, a webhook is added to automatically rebuild on changes to the repo or update of content in the CMS ▪ Preloads internally linked pages and lazy-loads images for quick initial load times and performance
