From the outset Austin demonstrated a superior incisive and analytical ability that marked him out. His ability to review research and materials from diverse sources, often in subject areas new to him, to distill this and produce actionable intelligence was second to none. During his time at Saticon he engaged in both primary and secondary market research in the domains of Governance, Risk & Compliance GRC and Business Process Management BPM Software. This included the preparation and execution of surveys into the use of compliance software across several different sectors including; Financial Services, Life Sciences, Telecoms, Manufacturing, Services, Construction, Entertainment & Media, Public Sector. Part of this research included direct telephone based research into the compliance needs of organisations and as such this was not a pure research effort but was part of the companies sales & marketing activities to engage with customers and build relationships. Austin provided analysis of the resulting data to identify market trends in GRC and BPM and helped to identify potential niche areas, unique features, buying behaviour which was used as an input to product development and marketing planning. From the market research plan and activities which he undertook the resulting report formed a significant part of Saticon's product and go-to market strategy. He produced prodigious amounts of competitor company & product analysis through collecting brochures, datasheets, videos and attending webinars & product demonstrations which he ollated and analysed. Lastly, he was a significant contributor into the development of Saticon's product brochures and marketing materials and he also produced a considerable output of Whitepapers and Social Media articles. There can be no doubt that Austin will be a tremendous asset to any organisation which is lucky enough to have him work for it.

While at Mercyhurst College, I served as Austin's team leader on an in-class simulation for our Terrorism seminar. Of the the 12+ members of my group, Austin was consistently in the top four for his committed work ethic, insightful analysis, and effective presentations. On more than one occasion he was willing to take on additional tasks and present ahead of schedule. He accepted criticism with a willing mind and a commitment to constant improvement. He was an excellent team player and a critical component of a group that ultimatley dilivered results that exceeded expectations.
