During my time at TREW I have programmed and commissioned several conveyor systems. I have travelled both domestically and internationally to commission and test these systems. I have worked closely with mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, project managers, and installers to deliver the best possible product to the customer. I have experience with several types of sorters, including full-width belt sorters and MDR sorters. These sorters have used routing methods including look-up tables within the PLC logic or by interfacing with the WES. I have developed HMI personally using FactoryTalk View or Redlion HMI, as well as interfaced with TREWs web-based HMI software for system status and control. I have taken the controls lead on several of these projects and take pride in delivering a quality product that makes customers delighted and encourages repeat business. Show less

With Swisslog my primary function was to construct 3 dimensional and fully emulatable models for automated warehouse logistics systems. As these models were fully emulatable, they interacted with Siemens and Rockwell PLCs with real-time IO. This provided customers with a clear perspective of how the system as designed was to function, as well as provide other engineers with a useful debugging tool. Other tasks I took part included site visits to troubleshoot issues with previous installations, as well as a lot of CAD work for projects currently in development. Show less

During my time at NSG, I was given the lead on several projects including an automated tank-level monitoring system, alerting maintenance when coolant needed to be ordered, as well as integrate a set of barcode scanners into existing processes for the purpose of quality control. These projects gave me experience in PLC programming and HMI design, as well as facilitated me with important experiences associated with project management, such as designing a system from the ground up, creating BOMs, acquiring materials, directing labor, and testing. In addition, at NSG I gained some experience in implementing safety PLCs and devices, working under the supervision of a senior engineer. Show less
