Bio
Michelle Theisen
Austin interned with The Arc Minnesota for the 2018-2019 school year as our Hmong speaking outreach intern. Austin was tenacious in his work. His attention to detail, ability to communicate with individuals at all levels, hard work, determination, positivity and sense of humor were essential for us to be successful in our engagement efforts with the Hmong community. Austin was keenly aware of the barriers people with disabilities who also do not speak English as their first language face in their every day life. Austin eagerly took on the challenges this community faced and did so with a steadfast manner. We are extremely appreciative of the role and work Austin did and any organization to secure his talents after us will benefit greatly with him on their team.
