Presented talk at FOSS4G-NA on using GeoMesa with Spark, Zeppelin and Amazon EMR to enable fast and cost effective geospatial analytics. Pioneered using GeoMesa on HBase backed by S3 by utilizing Amazon EMR. Created GeoTrellis plugin for GeoServer enabling serving of raster images in GeoTrellis as well as on the fly NDVI, NDWI and a pluggable interface for other map algebra algorithms. Provided professional consulting services for precision agriculture utilizing GeoMesa and GeoTrellis including imagery and vector data ingest, processing pipelines, storage, analytics and serving.
