Lead a 25 member strong Greek organization, during my term the organization, was formally recognized as one of the top performing chapters both by the school and nationally.Accomplishments:● Chapter awarded the gold cup for a top small chapter.○ This was in recognition of a high number of individual service hours, academic excellence, charitable fundraising, etc.● Developed and implemented a teaching rubric for training brothers to be better prepared for entering the workforce.● Worked to establish a strong local connection between the fraternity and local charities. Utilized membership and various other student organizations to fundraise and volunteer for the local charities.● Oversaw the Public Relations strategy which sought to improve the organization’s campus image. Recognized the stigmas that are associated with Fraternities and then hosted events that were both fun, educational, and directly challenged the stigma. This has led to an overall positive image of the organization with students and staff of the university and community. Show less

Under this role I had to educate new members of the brotherhood on how Alpha Sigma Phi's Brothers should not only carry themselves but also how to mange risky situations. I was able to positively implement teaching strategies that nearly double every new members retention rates and gave them the drive they needed to become leaders in the campus communities.

I reviewed cases involving students who possibly violated Wake Tech's Code of Conduct. Once both parties were heard, the council consisting of two other members and myself would make a decision on if the punishment was appropriate or not.
