• Designed and conducted forest inventories to support silvicultural prescriptions to progress forest-wide goals of diversity and resilience while generating income from operations • Implemented the prescriptions by designing and laying out a timber sale, marking boundaries for sensitive ecological areas, and marking timber to be harvested • Analyzed stand level inventory data and create sale layouts in GIS • Designed and conducted forest inventories to support silvicultural prescriptions to progress forest-wide goals of diversity and resilience while generating income from operations • Implemented the prescriptions by designing and laying out a timber sale, marking boundaries for sensitive ecological areas, and marking timber to be harvested • Analyzed stand level inventory data and create sale layouts in GIS

My role as a research assistant was to focus on large acoustic data sets, auditing for social call types of interest, analyzing the social context and patterns of occurrence, using specially developed software for the program MatLab. The data were recorded using DTAGs and observational behavior logs. This project included a field season deploying the tags and conducting behavioral follows by boat in the Sarasota Bay.
