Finding a person capable and passionate about their chosen field of study is not a challenging task, particularly in the upper echelons of academia. What sets Austin Chase Sigler apart is his capacity to immolate his friends and associates with an equal fervor for his discipline. From my earliest days of knowing Chase, he had the capacity to get me excited about the internal workings of human cells or chemical reactions. To this day, we still discuss his work as a graduate chemist on a weekly basis, sometimes for hours at length. To maintain the interest of the layman requires an intimacy and dexterity with complex subjects like chemistry requires the dexterity and passion of a master. Chase Sigler is inundated with both qualities. He brings both skill and heart to whatever table he sits at, and any academic or research institution can only stand to gain by adding him to their ranks.
