• I was on a team of 65 students to design, manufacture, and race an electric Formula One-style race car against other universities across the nation. That year, our team placed 2nd among 30 teams at the national competition in Lincoln, NE.• Manufactured the car’s suspension system parts using CNC and manual mills and lathes, including a 5-axis CNC mill. Wrote CAM programs in HSMWorks.• Wrote grants to fundraise for the team. Awarded a $3000 grant from SpaceX.
