  In my role as Performance Manager, I was the primary source of communication for performance requests and organized the logistics for our performances. I collaborated with various community leaders and improved my communication and public speaking skills. I also co-managed a troupe of about 50 members, including a board of 14 members. In addition to keeping track of our performances, I co-organized a major yearly event for K-12 youth from Yolo County and increased participation by about 50% from the previous year. This community outreach event is put on by Danzantes del Alma every winter quarter and serves to provide dance workshops to the youth while providing workshops about higher education and other community topics to their parents.
