It was a true pleasure working on the same team with August over a number of years. She handled an incredibly high volume of work as the sole representative of our company in her region, developing and managing programs, partnerships and staff. She did it with so much grace and good humor, thereby serving as an excellent role model for the youth in her programs, as well as for the young leaders she was coaching. We led a number of workshops together, some on complex and issues of cultural diversity and sensitivity, which she facilitated thoughtfully and with ease. Though it wasn't her primary role to fundraise, she drew the attention of sponsors who wanted to support the programs she oversaw. August is dedicated, hardworking, and a blessing for any organization that depends on its staff to multitask with a diverse skill set.

It is with esteemed confidence that I write this letter of recommendation for August-Marie Wagner-Richardson. I have known August-Marie for over 2 years both professionally and personally. August-Marie has developed into a very powerful role model, mentor and leader in the community. She has set goals and attained those goals. Her priorities encompass her life and it shows. She has a great deal of compassion for youth and families and her dedication to the community shows it. August-Marie had a Dream and before my eyes it has grown into a reality she has been given the opportunity to assist young people along their journey to self-sufficiency. August is a very creative teacher she possesses and talents that take people years to obtain.

August Marie is high-energy, creative, and willing to try a variety of approaches to involve others in learning and growth. She often offers to assist her colleagues in achieving their goals, and values working as part of a team.
