  - Safely use a marked department vehicle to provide pick-up and drop-off services on the main campus. Provide a high visibility presence on campus as eyes and ears and utilize radio to communicate with public safety dispatchers.-Provide assistance as directed by police department personnel. Duties include traffic control, providing information to the public, security, clerical support, records, and community outreach.-Patrol libraries and act as eyes and ears for possible concerns. Inform patrons of library policies when necessary. Perform regular walk-throughs and provide hourly head counts to the head of User Services and Resource Sharing. Make sure alarmed doors are secure. Respond to activated door alarms by turning off and re-arming the alarms. Perform some closing rounds of the library to ensure that patrons do not remain in the library after closing.
