Provide logistics and project management analysis and support to the Logistics Integration Support (LIS) Program at MCLC Albany (direct support to the Program Manager). Contribute in-depth research and evaluation of DoD and USMC logistics systems and processes (internal & external) to identify opportunities for improvement and drive efficiencies across the USMC organization. Evaluate data from DoD and USMC systems (e.g., MDR, GCSS-MC); develop capabilities assessments and metrics that result in improved understanding of current and future challenges. Create and update comprehensive budget spreadsheets, approval matrices, and financial planning documentation for the program office and product teams. Identify funding shortfalls and Current Year deficiencies; analyze budget LIS funding data to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget and scope. Analyze supply chain processes and provide recommended courses of action for improvement. Provide analysis and information that is used by the government customer in retail maintenance and sourcing decisions. Apply knowledge of laws, policies, regulations and precedents applicable to logistics planning and program execution/sustainment. Develop recommendations for changes to Marine Corps policy. Develop briefings, documents, summaries and other communications related to improvement of SECREP supply chain processes.
