  Peaches is a multidisciplinary art, design, and mold-making studio. This studio designs and creates highly thoughtful yet minimal objects that explore identity, self-expression, functionality, and color. The porcelain forms of Peaches are hand made through an intensive process of slip casting. As a studio assistant, I provide support in each stage of porcelain production: I create and pour plaster molds, clean greenware, load and unload the kiln, sand bisque ware, glaze the ceramics and package the products to ship.

  The LaurelThirst commissioned me to design and build a bar top using 300-year-old wood reclaimed from a historical building in Portland, OR. This project included the development of a design strategy and presentation for a new bar concept while also utilizing CAD models for client approval of the design and production schedule. I developed the (bill of materials) BOM, calculated and specified dimensions based on an existing bar, cut and processed all the wood, and assembled and constructed the three-piece, 36 ft., fir, herringbone inlaid bar top.

They provide over 20,000 rides a year and are a free assault prevention service open to UO students, faculty, and staff. As a dispatcher, my position required the qualification to work in the office managing the phones and schedules, navigating and keeping track of schedules for the driver, and driving the van picking up riders.
