I had the great pleasure of working with Audrey on the production of a brand new virtual course offering on "Being Innovative." Audrey was the real innovator! She was the driving force within the project, an endless source of novel ideas, and the consummate execution professional all at the same time. It was a bravura performance on her part and she is a major author of the considerable success that this project achieved. Smart, energizing, fun and detailed, that's Audrey!

I had the great pleasure and privilege to work with Audrey when we produced an online executive education course ‘Pricing Excellence in Tough B2B Markets’. While I am an experienced classroom educator, teaching through videos requires a very different approach, and Audrey helped me a lot in preparing my material to multimedia-effective. She directed the studio shoots to ensure continuity, consistency and a high-quality delivery. She is a great coach who can get the best out of people, even if they are not Hollywood-material! At the post-production phase, Audrey and her team put a lot of effort in creating a flawless, visually engaging learning journey for our demanding audience. And in the time since the launch of the program, I’ve had several discussions with her in which she demonstrated that she not only masters the production side of multimedia learning, she also has a very good understanding of the strategic and economical perspective of this industry disruptor.

Promoted to this role, I currently helm video production for the Global Leadership in the Cloud programs – IMD’s new online business courses launched in 2014. This has been a fantastic opportunity to not only innovate on the content side, injecting as much creativity as I could while preserving the pedagogical aim, but also behind the scenes – through the implementation of effective production workflows to leverage our in-house capabilities, stretch budgets and get the team to deliver under some very tight deadlines. Over a 6-month timeframe we managed to produce more than 150 original videos spread across 5 different online programs, receiving the 2014 IMD Innovation Award as a result of our efforts.

My role at IMD, one of the world’s leaders in executive education, was to direct multimedia and marketing projects for the Corporate Learning Network, an exclusive network of 100 companies dedicated to corporate development. This was a complex, multi-layered role balancing out on the one end, project management responsibilities (liaising with the design/multimedia/IT departments and external providers for marketing campaigns and more elaborate projects such as the launch of two new virtual platforms and an iPad app) and on the other end, video content production; there, unleashing my LA production experience and creativity to produce impactful marketing and educational videos on leading business themes -- including a ‘global leaders’ series featuring interviews with top CEOs. To me a stable foundation is half the battle so one of my priorities walking into the job was to revamp production facilities to optimize shoots, as well as craft a sensible post production process for the team to be most effective – the implementation of which proved a key factor in the success of IMD’s E-learning programs in 2014 (see above).

This was a first interesting foray into more commercial marketing, working for a top-producing real estate team to develop their brand identity and anchor their marketing presence through the creation of various promotional tools such as videos, a website, and print and online campaigns. It was an eye-opening experience as far as client relationships are concerned, within that particular field: the home-buying process can turn out to be a very intricate and emotional process for buyers… Show more This was a first interesting foray into more commercial marketing, working for a top-producing real estate team to develop their brand identity and anchor their marketing presence through the creation of various promotional tools such as videos, a website, and print and online campaigns. It was an eye-opening experience as far as client relationships are concerned, within that particular field: the home-buying process can turn out to be a very intricate and emotional process for buyers and sellers, and there’s an interesting dynamic which has to happen between (good) agents and the clients they represent to carry out a deal, the foundation of which is trust. Prior to this I viewed home buying more as a transaction, rather than a personal experience, but now I’ll make sure I find an agent who‘s sensitive to both aspects in finding my dream home! This was a great segue from my prior fiction-based video production experience, into the non-fiction realm of documentary film.
