      In Jan 2018, selected to be project manager for the Children’s hospital’s portfolio of quality improvement work with the Solutions for Patient Safety (SPS) and the Improving Pediatric Sepsis Outcomes (IPSO) collaboratives. Responsible for maintaining data submission and analysis, identifying opportunity areas, and providing units with resources to implement collaborative recommendations. Increased CMHH participation and visibility in the collaborative through presentation of our experience, expertise, and outcomes at regional and national conferences. Compared to the baseline period FY2018 (7/17-6/18), implementation of collaborative recommendations has prevented an estimated 41 CLABSIs, resulting in a cost savings of $2.25 million, prevented an estimated 85 unplanned extubations, resulting in a cost savings of $3.1 million, and prevented these types of injuries from harming an estimated 126 children and families. Our outcomes have resulted in CMHH being sought out to share our expertise in this network and through journal publications.In Jan 2020, joined CMHH US News & World Report submission team. Used expertise in project/database management to design and implement an electronic submission tracking system over the previous paper-based system, enabling the team to visualize completion progress and locate specific information within seconds. Coordinated a successful on-time submission to achieve an increase in ranking from the previous calendar year from #26 to #22 in Cardiology & Heart Surgery and from #41 to #31 in Neurology & Neurosurgery. Post-rankings release, provided a visual gap analysis for each submitted survey team with recommendations for target areas for opportunity for upcoming submission year, with regular check-ins toward next year’s submission.Other responsibilities have included policy/procedure management for the Children's hospital, chair of Nursing Peer Review for Memorial Hermann-TMC, Newborn Screen Coordinator for the Children's Hospital.
