Participated in retina research by testing the efficacy of tetracaine derivatives on rod and cone cyclic nucleotide-gated channels using patch-clamp electrophysiology. Presented key findings and data at the Willamette University Science Collaborative Research Symposium to an audience of 50 other student researchers and faculty members and earned the best score for the presentation category. Selected to present key findings and data and to showcase knowledge of retina research for approximately 300 scientists at the Murdock College Science Research Conference in Vancouver, WA. Show less
