When I joined Eight25Media as a Senior UI UX designer, my goal was not only to create great designs, but also to cultivate a creative culture in the company and improve the team work in between Designs and UI Development. Past experience as a front-end developer helps me to solve many usability and user experience issues. Moving from Photoshop to Sketch App helped me to create more accurate designs for iOS based devices with Retina displays and as a team we did awesome eCommerce/ Corporate websites and Mobile applications for some of the biggest brands in USA.

Created Hi-Quality, Commercially focused UI Designs for eCommerce solutions such as Magento, Hybris, and Kentico. Got specialized in User Experience and Responsive designs methods which help to create great website looks awesome in every devices. By working with Sydney and Colombo design team, we maintained laser-focused quality stands which helps to achieve truly amazing results for our clients. By using my Filmmaking skills i did a Corporate Video for Netstarter Sri Lanka that reflects company culture and work life balance. I did my own concept, camara, video editing and directing and the video got highly appreciated by management and it helps the company recrutment process as well.

I was assigned to do Video Documentaries & Official Photography of the world's finest resorts in the Maldives. Successfully completed over 15 Resort Video shoots & Photo Shoots all over the Maldives by doing Directing, Camara and Editing by myself. Played a key role of creative team player in many local and overseas corporate web projects. Met clients together with project managers personally to identify their project requirements. Always came up with fresh and creative ideas and gave the right solution on time. Working with sister company SMART MEDIA Pvt. Ltd, Have done one TV Commercial for SINGER ASIA (Directing, Animation, Story Board) At the same time I have done many web annual reports such as Commercial Bank, National Savings Bank, Sri Lanka Telecom, DIMO and won a ARC award for Sri Lanka Telecom Annual Report 2007.

Video Editor - Multimedia Designer

Video Editor-Multimedia Designer to Television Post-Production company. Other than Video Editing, I have used capability of 2D - 3D Animation, Visual Effects, Special Effects and Video Composting and successfully completed many TV Commercials and Corporate Videos. Responsible for creative inputs and always came up with fresh concepts for TV Commercials and Animations. Created many Story Lines, Story Boards, concepts for Cartoon Characters, Space Ships, creatures like Aliens and Monsters, drew Blue Prints for 3D models and lead the team members to get a real look and feel for the final output. Collaborated with Advertising Agencies, Production houses and directed my first TV Commercial for Abans LG Washing Machines.

Working with pioneer television director Mr.Bertram Nihal and took my first step into the video industry. Began as a Nonlinear Video Editor, Assistant Director and expanded the area of working in the studio as well as field environments. Played a key roll in many the Television Productions, Video Documentaries & Corporate Videos and completed the projects effectively. Meantime working with Mr. Athula Ranasirilal - Head of Film Dubbing unit of SRI LANKA RUPAVAHINI CORPORATION and made Short Cartoon for children's programs.
