Mr. Atif Khwaja is a remarkable designer, deeply skilled with computation and simulation methods, and committed to delivering excellence across design, production, and critical thought. As a full-time faculty member at the University of Washington Department of Architecture, I first got to know Atif in a graduate-level course ARCH 504: Performance-Based Design Studio where he developed a quarter-long design studio project that used environmental and building energy performance simulation tools. Based on my fifteen years of teaching building science-related coursework at the University of Washington, I consider Atif one of my most exceptional students and am thrilled to see his career development. He is a great pleasure to work with and contributed to an excellent learning and working environment. Any organization will be fortunate to have Atif on their team.
