The SAP Documentum integration project was a project for a customer to solve issues encountered by them with their integration of SAP and external document management systems and to provide standards for the business on how this integration should be achieved. The key output was integration “cookbooks” which would provide a step by step guide which could be used by the business units to integrate. Although the integration was based around Documentum, the standard for document management at the customer, It was criticalthat the integration methods used for the project should offer integration with any document management system should they choose to change strategy. EI achieved this and were able to ensure that all scenarios were working, including the integration with Seal’s maintenance printing solution.
