The project aimed to increase the stability of freshwater supply in urban areas by adjusting the water supply to the actual consumption, while minimizing energy consumption through smart-grid integration and water spillage through leak… Show more From September 2012 to August 2015, I was the Technical Project Manager, WP4 leader (Communications and Middleware Architecture) for the FP7 ICT Solutions for efficient Water Resources Management (ICeWater) project, http://icewater-project.eu. The project aimed to increase the stability of freshwater supply in urban areas by adjusting the water supply to the actual consumption, while minimizing energy consumption through smart-grid integration and water spillage through leak detection. Moreover, from July 2013 to June 2015, I was the Technical Project Manager and key member of the coordinating team of the INTERREG-MED project 'Integrated and Interoperable Maritime Transit Management System' (INTE-TRANSIT). The project proposed an innovative integrated approach to overcome the fragmentation of knowledge among container terminals’ stakeholders. It also promoted a new information system for the ports, able to improve logistic operations and cargo monitoring.
