• Design and fabrication of microfluidic chips, to analyze and quantify engineering processes with ~100-fold faster and ~10-fold cheaper than conventional methods. Specifically, developed a chip to measure fluid properties with a cost < $500 as opposed to ~$5,000 for industrial PVT apparatus.• A key contributor to a collaborative project with Suncor Energy with a budget ~ $1M, experimentation, data analysis and compiling, monthly progress reporting, and quarterly technical presentation to Suncor. The project provides an invaluable insight for process optimization of Suncor Firebag field pilot tests in Athabasca field.
