Being the Security Solutions Project Lead for UAE region, I was acting as subject matter expert (SME) for cyber security services liaising closely with multiple clients from different verticals involving Banking, Financial Services, Government entities, transportation etc. performing below roles & responsibilities:• Serve as the point of contact for clients in collation, analysis, managing and interpretation of risks and threats that may affect the business, streamlining of threat intelligence reporting, ensure timely notification to stakeholders etc.• Provide timely communications and actionable intelligence to support the protection of information assets and supporting infrastructure.• Designing, implementation & Administration of SIEM solutions such as ArcSight & QRadar involving products like ESM, Logger, Event Broker, ArcMC, UEBA, SmartConnectors, Qradar All in One Console, Event/Flow Processors, QFlow Collectors etc..• Liaison with client project managers and other key players to obtain updates and share pass down communications pertinent to current security threats and remediation strategies.• Provide an additional layer of monitoring for any incidents generated through the SOC monitoring tools combining the use of indicators of compromise (IOCs), events and aggregated log data to identify malicious activity that could potentially compromise the confidentiality, integrity or availability of client’s network and critical data.• Create, optimize, and continuously evaluate security monitoring content (correlated Searches/Alerts & Reports) on SIEM and develop dashboards with visual metrics for stakeholders.• Identify and communicate daily all critical incidents requiring the attention of senior management and co-ordinate with operations/resolver teams to provide necessary documentation in support of actions.
