The Advancement Office is charged with increasing the financial resources of Hospice Maui through the creation and execution of a comprehensive strategic Advancement Plan and building and maintaining collaborative relationships with the Maui community. Collaborated with the CEO, Medical Director, Clinical Director, and other managers to provide integrated organizational leadership. Managed all aspects of fund development, including research, planning, implementation and evaluation of all programs, activities, and events. Managed all aspects of organizational interfacing with the public, including research, planning, implementation and evaluation of all publications, collateral materials, programs, activities, and events, including liaison activities with referral sources and institutional providers. Interfaced with Board Members on Advancement-related topics and strategic planning. Achievements: • Developed an Advancement team (Development and Outreach) with supervision of up to 5 team members • Created and implemented an Advancement Plan for the organization • Created and implemented Annual Giving campaigns including Annual Fund appeal major gift program, restricted funds and wish lists, planned giving program. Created focus and advisory groups and donor recognition and cultivation events • Redesigned all marketing collateral, and social media communication • Successfully finished capital campaign for Hospice Maui Hale • Increased average Annual Giving significantly • Secured major donors and gifts • Managed successful planned giving campaign
