As the Manager of the China Unit, my goal is to drive national high-impact business development initiatives to enhance Israel’s trade relations and assist Israeli industry in variety of sectors to enter new markets and develop business opportunities in China. My daily work includes attracting Chinese corporations, companies and organizations to explore the Israeli industry, and match their technological needs with Israeli companies' capabilities. I also assist Israeli companies in locating customers, partners, distributers and integrators in the Chinese market. To achieve these I work on daily basis with International consultancy and Public Relation firms, and I manage and direct their interface with the Israeli industry and government. I also communicate regularly with economic development and commercial business attachés in China and Israel, to identify business leads, contacts, and promotional opportunities. My team at the IEICI organizes over 10 high-profile special events and trade exhibitions each year hosting and briefing business leaders, foreign journalists, diplomats, foreign government officials, and various trade delegations in order to facilitate positive relations and increase awareness of multinational trade opportunities. I dedicate my efforts to enhance the awareness of the Israeli Industry in China and work closely with the Public Relations & Graphic Design department to develop press releases, artwork, advertising, and other marketing materials. A good example of this is the construction of a website in Hebrew, English and Chinese http://www.export.gov.il/chi/Homepage/. For a couple of years I was also in charge of two more target markets – Brazil and India, as the manager of the Target Markets Unit at the IEICI.
