I began my full-time role at Studio Organon intending to further explore my interest in furniture and product design. However, as I moved along project-to-project, I realized that my actual inclination was towards Spatial Design, working from the big to the small and vice verse. I was responsible for Studio's first overseas design consultancy project based in the UK. Working closely with the Principal Architect, this was an opportunity for me to stand out. My role went beyond design ideas and mere drafting, opening up the doors of project management and coordination. In keeping with global standards of documentation, this project was challenging as well as satisfying. With the attention given to each detail, with no scope for error, the result was worth it! This project gave me the confidence to take on bigger challenges back home, one example being a forest resort with sixteen individual cottage-style rooms. I was primarily responsible for spatial layouts and furniture design. Working in close association with the craftsmen was transformative of my drafting style, I was no longer making mediocre drawings but drawings that could be read by anyone and translated into reality. My journey with the Studio has been crucial to forming my design ideologies and processes, I feel this experience of working in a small team gave me multiple chances to take charge and explore the field of architecture and design. Architecture Intern
-
Jan 2016 - Jul 2016
Studio Organon was my first time in the professional world of Architecture. Fortunately for me, this small team was the perfect learning opportunity. As an intern, I not only worked on 2D and 3D drafting, I also got a technical insight with visiting sites, checking prototypes from time to time to reflect and improve designs. This made me experience design as a complete process from ideation, iterations to final execution and constant reflections. Softwares used: Autocad, Sketch Up, Microsoft Excel Show less

DNUVO Shoes is a bespoke shoe company for men. Being one of a kind in the present market, they needed a strong marketing strategy and social media outburst. My work here involved product photography, creation of posts for social media, pamphlets and promotional material. I learnt research and analysis, understood competition and consumer patterns to come up with an appropriate strategy for the brand.
