I first met Asma in regard to a university study abroad trip for which I served as the professor-in-charge. She turned out to be one of the outstanding students in that course for which our group travelled to Paris, France, to learn accordingly about business practices, protocols, and cultures outside of the US. Asma was a conscientious active participant during the full time as we attended courses at Sorbonne University to learn and apply knowledge at a global level. These courses covered topics spanning international business disciplines, innovation, how to adapt, effective decision making with ethical and global considerations, proper and productive communication, and important collaboration skills. Additionally, she was fully engaged during client-company visits with the various organizations with which our group met formally and interacted informally. In Asma’s case, she asked the client-companies a good quantity and quality of relevant questions to properly analyze their business practices. I have travelled extensively worldwide, served as a university business school dean for 12 years, worked in mid-level industry executive career positions, and am now a long time, full-time business school professor, and I can comfortably state that, since Asma is interested in international consulting work, she would be an excellent consultant.
