Coordinated Polio operations at national level which included cVDPV2 outbreak response, surveillance, high risk populations and humanitarian access. I worked closely with the Ministry of Health, Health Cluster partners, WHE and EPI and supported integration. I acted Polio Team leader (P5) for 12 months and supported the COVID-19 response as one of the key members of theIncident management team for COVID-19 response. During this period, I coordinated three scientific studies – Covid-19 Community Verbal Autopsy, Study the vulnerability of health workers to COVID-19 infection in relation to adherence to IPC standards and COVID-19 Sero-survey (Unity studies) which I spearheaded the integration with Polio and VPD sero-survey.
