It's about taking a company-wide approach to renewing our technology infrastructure, looking at opportunities for automation and robotics, connecting our data systems to enable broad application of advanced analytics and artificial intelligence, and empowering our employees, with a focus on making real progress moving forward.Currently, my role is focused on strategic prioritization and scoping within the Maintenance space; working with end users to deeply understand their needs and drive value through delivery.Specific products areas I've spun up include:• Data Science as a Service (DSaaS) bad actor offering: By complimenting the subject matter expertise of our key stakeholders with in-depth knowledge of analytics and machine learning, we work to identify, understand, quantify, and solve some of the most confounding and high-value problems plaguing our low-redundancy assets• Impact Monitoring Tools: By quantifying maintenance cost and lost production associated with our key assets, we can then better target "what's eating our lunch" and ensure we're deploying our scarce resources to the right problems at the right time• Asset Health Platform: This offering is designed to connect the individuals who know the most about our key assets, with the data and tools they need to monitor, diagnose and action based on real time data. Usability as key, with a focus on enabling those who have a deep understanding of mining and mechanics but may not be as experienced in technology and coding languages• Enterprise Site-to-Cloud Pipelines: Providing support to our enterprise team (outside of the Maintenance space), I was able to demonstrate the efficacy of an Agile approach to prioritization and development in a historically waterfall space, while also proving some early and key wins during a high-pressure cloud migration initiative Show less

AnalysisWorks is a boutique analytical consulting firm largely focused on products that support data-driven operational decision making within the Canadian healthcare space. In my role at AnalysisWorks, I had the opportunity to lead clients through all aspects of the project life cycle, while driving internal strategic initiatives. While my role included business analysis and data development early in my tenure, my Project Leadership role largely focused on a few key areas: • Capital Planning: "We're planning to build/renovate a hospital - how big should it be?" • Bed Mapping: "We only have so many beds in the hospital - where should we place the programs to optimize efficiency and flow?" • Cost Monitoring: "Why are we over/under budget? Where should I focus to make a significant impact?" • Special Projects: One-off engagements, largely focused on building better and deeper relationships with key or prospective clients While the immediate goal was always to delight the client and meet their requirements, the underlying role was focused on productionizing much of this work into automated processes and web apps to support with scaling the team and the company. As the HRBP for AbeBooks (an Amazon company), I worked to assess the needs of my employee population, find and implement solutions to meet those needs, and then monitor the effectiveness of those solutions.
