Realigned back to my home department/team after delivering two successful projects for NVH department. My team/role had been dispersed amongst the rest of the team hence found myself needing to find a new role. This on top of a parent dying a month earlier. Hence, I took chance to escape an unsupportive work environment, refresh some skills and get peace in myself again. Then looked for new opportunities and be open to a career pivot given my experience overseas, so I can bring a new viewpoint to teams in the Automotive, Creative and Financial industries. Automotive and NVH industry is what I know. Creative industry links to my hobbies. Financial industry builds on my interest in money, finance and CIMA training. Show less

Driven Attribute Quality

- Requested in Jan 2020 to return to Vehicle NVH department to be a lead in, and ensure delivery to engineering sign-off of, an already significantly late running development program. September 2020 requested to lead a cost-save initiative in NVH with 3 matrix reporting engineers, where the target was beaten by £Xmillion/year. Required coordination of fellow managers, cross-functional working and demonstration drives with senior management and key stakeholders.- Remote and local management of the Attribute Quality Team (Squeaks and Rattles, Water Test, Body sealing) for the launch of the Land Rover Defender. Simultaneously, leading six engineers in the UK running Durability and Reliability Attribute test vehicles; resolving Driven Attribute issues on late engineering prototypes and press vehicles. Working in Slovakia and the UK as required.- Significant flexibility and agility shown in undertaking multiple roles requiring changing departments, as business and environmental conditions changed under the pandemic. Responsibilities and Achievements:- Led and developed a team of 9 engineers, after combining two teams. - Oversaw NVH development of Jaguar F-Type Coupe, ensuring appropriate targets and DV plans were in place, through to a successful launch phase and Job 1.- Ensured the successful launch of Jaguar F-Type Convertible, that required resolution of a key exhaust variant being significantly away from sign-off with the first supplier manufactured parts.
