I currently manage four squads at SpotHero -- Data Engineering - We build and enrich platforms that move and transform data with the intent to provide insights and predictions from data in collaboration with our stakeholders in Data Science, Business Analytics, Marketing and more. We are part stakeholder enablers, part infrastructure engineer and part application developer. We work with Python, Kotlin, Redshift, Kafka, Spark, Airflow, Iceberg, S3 and so much more. Platform Engineering - We build cost effective and performant platform solutions aimed at relieving bottlenecks within our monolith. IT - We onboard and provision new employees with the tools to succeed both in current remote environment and in the office.
