  Title: Automated collection and coding of online campaign advertising (NSF funded $529,776; award no: 1729775)In this project, our team developed several YouTube bots programmed to observe videos and gather political video advertisements from various states within the USA. Subsequently, the advertisements were analyzed based on their sentiment, tone, and other relevant metrics, and the outcomes were presented through an interactive and adaptable dashboard.My contribution: - Created age, gender, and location based Google profiles for collecting YouTube ads.- Developed a Django server and web-extension to facilitate login and collect ad collection.Project demonstrated that online political ads from 2016 to 2019 were not targeted to individuals.
