Certified notary. I work as a paralegal. I’ve held several positions with Gudeman & Associates P.C., over the years including preparation and upkeep of Chapter 7 bankruptcy cases, assisting our lead attorney with chapter 11 and 12 bankruptcies, auditing our in-house billing system. Currently my position deals with various types of law, including but not limited to real estate, corporate/ business, collection, probate, tax, landlord tenant, domestic relations, estate planning and all with a focus on litigation. Current job duties include but are not limited to communicating with clients, courts and opposing counsel, drafting legal pleadings, calendar and deadline scheduling, case management, legal research, drafting corporate documents, leases and contracts. Job duties also include several managerial tasks. This position teaches me something new every day. Providing me an opportunity to become to a very versatile paralegal. I’m a self-starter and was hired in after only three weeks of my internship due to my strong work ethic, a willingness to take on all tasks thrown in my direction and organizational skills shown.
