Being a reporter at The Ball State Daily News, or The DN, means that I active report and write stories covering topics on campus or around the Muncie area. Here, I've been able to learn and grow as a journalist within an environment that emulates the atmosphere of a true newsroom within the United Media Lab in the Arts and Journalism Building at Ball State. The Ball State Daily News is the national award-winning, on-campus student newspaper at Ball State University, located in Muncie, Indiana. We are an independent news organization, with the mission of providing the campus and Muncie community with breaking news and accurate, timely information. Show less

After I began working here in Aug. 2022, I quickly found myself becoming an "icon" within the restaurant. The fast-paced atmosphere, the conversations with guests and the interactions I have with my coworkers makes the hours fly by. 10-year-old me would've never thought he'd be serving at the same place he was ordering his kid-sized "Andy's sirloin," but 20-year-old me is glad he does.

In North Dining at Ball State University. It was a decent job to have on campus, and I always thought knowing how to make a good cup o' joe would be a neat skill to have. Through this job, I became a Starbucks certified barista. In North Dining at Ball State University.
