Hydrometeorological research on PMP (Probable Maximum Precipitation) and design storms using statistical methods. This work has wide applications in storm water management and Design of Spillway capacities for large hydrological reservoirs such as Dams for large river basins.Application of GIS ( Geographical Information System) and Remote sensing coupled with Regional Climate and Hydrological modeling systems in water resources management. Please follow my publication for more details on this topic. The publication is entitled "Extreme rainfall analysis and estimation of Probable Maximum Precipitation (PMP) by statistical methods over the Indus river basin in India". The similar research studies were also conducted for the Krishna river basins and siang river basins of India.
