  My role was to develop and maintain the backend designed with monolithic architecture and expose apis for the mobile apps to consume. I designed apis for features such as authentication, authorization, master data, subscriptions, orders, payments and tracking etc... Performance was given high priority in my design. I also was involved in the scaling process. We chose vertical and horizontal scaling based on the necessity. I worked using MEAN stack for the above said development. I had assisted devops in creating our CI /CD pipelines

  As a senior developer I was assigned to develop web applications in microservice architectural design. I had to make sure every service is independent and is designed to maintain and scale individually. To ensure process flow, I designed additional services for data exchange keeping the core services independent and later enhanced the entire design with event driven architecture for exchanging data among systems and not just services. I had developed UI as single page applications and isolated them completely from the backend codebase. Had worked extensively on ruby on Rails and React Js for most of the projects.
