In my 1st year I taught 3rd graders. However, now I work extensively with students, in small groups, to help them improve specific reading skills such as letter-naming, initial sounds, phoneme segmentation, and comprehension strategies. I pull students with Dyslexia, from grades 2nd through 12th, into small groups. My goal is to support and bridge the gaps in their educational growth. In my 1st year I taught 3rd graders. I started out at this campus in High School as an At-Risk tutor, then I became a paraprofessional in the SPED department helping several students with inclusion support. The dean of Academics asked if I would like to take over a 3rd grade class, which was nothing I expected it to be. I, however, did enjoy the new position. I left Jubilee and found another 3rd grade class to teach at a different campus/district. -Take incoming customer calls. Schedule and coordinate all service calls as calls are received. -Maintain customer database with current information. Update customer files as information is received from installation, or repair jobs. (Go Backs, Paperwork/signatures, new customers, turn over Opportunities, etc.) -Clear and concise communications with department managers, employees and company customers, including keeping customers mindful as to company schedule and requested lead-times. -Record and report the service calls that come in throughout the day for training purposes. I work the 3rd shift in a Customer Client Care role more often being we don’t really dispatch overnight, however, I am trained in both fields. -Maintain the dispatch board / schedule. Show less

Tour Guide. TMMTX offers tours for free. The locals, who visited, ranged from third graders to senior citizens in Elderly Homes. We also gave tours to very special VIP employees or Japanese ambassadors. I had the privilege to meet the company's President, while giving him and a governor from Japan a tour. There were many VIP guests to the plant, including celebrities. To the locals we served as the face of the company. To the VIPs we were considered knowledgeable assets. Tour Guide. Through UTSA I was able to get an internship to Walt Disney World in the food and beverage department at Disney's Animal Kingdom. While there I was able to enroll into their business seminars that are 8 weeks long. I finished and obtained certificates from two of them. One was cast engagement and guest relations, the other one was marketing and strategies.
