I'm honored to write a recommendation for Ashley as she is unlike many individuals at her age. Her passion and interest in the fields of mechanical engineering, robotics, launching of satellites & rockets, research and more is beyond inspiring. Moreover, Ashley's character is distinctively exceptional with her work ethic & commitment to any particular cause being a platform that many should follow upon. She is also a great teacher and an active advocate for helping inspire and bring more women into the STEM fields who haven't previously been exposed to them. Apart from being open and willing to constantly improve herself, she's a solid programmer & leader in her own right and I'm honored to know someone of her caliber. In closing, I know that Ashley will without a doubt, help change the world one day in addition to making a lasting & positive impact for future generations.

Conducted research on blue and grey hydrogen initiatives, identifying risks and inefficiencies. I also developed a comprehensive project management platform, which was well-received and streamlined the project management process. My passion for sustainability and environmental justice was evident through presentations and public speaking engagements, including a webinar on the hydrogen color wheel and a radio appearance on EcoJustice Radio. • Build Reliability Engineer - Propulsion Components / Valves
      • Jun 2020 - May 2021

Evaluate and mitigate risk on the propulsion components of Falcon 9 launch vehicle, Merlin engines, and Dragon at an assembly and testing level. This role requires knowledge of fluid systems, propulsion elements, and integration onto launch vehicles with an understanding of the impacts of reusability.Projects included the successful yield increase of critical mission components which were historically the lowest yield in the factory. As a result of the automation of the testing process, this allowed my team to conduct projects for redesigns, testing, tooling design, fault tree analysis, and process improvements. In addition, served as an engineering point of contact regarding refurbishment of the components, downstream impacts, and launch site root cause analysis between the beginning and final steps of the launch vehicle integration process.
