I worked as an intern at the hospital's outpatient clinic, the Fernandes Center for Children and Families. There, I primarily shadowed an occupational therapist, while occasionally shadowing physical and speech therapists as well. I was given tasks of collecting charts for the day, as well as office work, and preparing for and cleaning up after therapy sessions. During this internship, I was exposed to typical therapy sessions, evaluations, and the paperwork that accompanies therapy. During my time at the arts center, I worked hands on with supervisors to promote the company, as well as working at events on the property, such as weddings and art shows. I was given the responsibility of solely representing the company at it's weekly farmers market. While at these events, I was able to develop constructive relationships with other local businesses in town.
