Ashley led the planning, organization, marketing, execution, and evaluation of over 50 small and large-scale events annually for a community of 4,000 members. She managed a small team and worked closely with teachers, support staff, parents, students, and contractors to make sure that each event ran seamlessly, was within budget, and aligned with the overall marketing objectives. Nothing escaped her impeccable attention to detail. What impressed me most about Ashley was her work ethics — always going above and beyond to make each event impactful, to improve the workflow, and above all, to support her colleagues. She has shown us how to collaborate smoothly with various stakeholders, network with partners, and achieve results such as record attendance or record funds raised. As we worked in an international environment, Ashley has demonstrated excellent intercultural understanding and earned tremendous respect up and down the organization. It was a pleasure to have been Ashley's colleague because she worked proactively, communicated clearly, and followed through, never breaking a promise. It was also important for her to track progress and review the results of her team’s work. I highly recommend Ashley. She is such a valuable asset -- for any organization.

‘Ridiculously organized and efficient’ is the phrase that comes to mind when I think about Ashley. I hired Ashley as Head of Events in Dulwich College Beijing in 2016 and had a pleasure to work with her for four fabulous years. Ashley has proven herself to be extremely skilled in all areas of event planning, customer relations and team leadership. Having planned events from small-scale workshops and seminars, all the way to galas and international days attended by thousands, Ashley has the experience in the field that is required to plan successful projects with attention to details from strategic planning to implementation and feedback as well as team management. She also has a huge passion for international education and working with students and started several new long- term initiatives at DCB supporting student life, such as student internships in admin departments. Ashley was well known for her people skills and calm manner when dealing with challenges. Thanks to her cross-culture communications skills and consistent work with parent organisation, our annual Parent Charity Gala has been very successful, with Ashley behind the scenes working with a variety of groups, communicating fluently in English and Chinese, and maneuvering between different cultures. As a team member or a leader, Ashley earns my highest recommendation.
