      • Feb 2023 - Present

Healing begins with sharing your story with someone who responds with empathy and understanding. In that space you can tap into your own inner strength and shame can't survive. I offer a non-judgemental, compassionate space to explore your emotions, experiences, and concerns, while supporting you to reach your goals. Together we will build a supportive and safe relationship that will foster your healing and growth. Since 2014 I've had the privilege of supporting children, youth, adults and their families in mental health agencies, schools, child welfare agencies, and the children’s hospital at London Health Sciences Centre. I bring expertise in working with ADHD, addiction, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, relationships, trauma, self-harm and suicidal ideation. I work from a trauma-informed and strengths-based perspective providing a safe space for reflection and connection. As your counsellor, I would like to empower you to learn new tools and techniques to enhance your daily life! Many of these strategies are drawn from cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioural therapy (DBT), solution focused therapy, and mindfulness based therapies.
