      Extracted EPIC data from a variety of mothers and infant’s records. Analyzed and coded video material of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) environment and its changes. Formatted the EPIC data and material in Excel and imported into REDCap - a clinical and translational research database tool. This data was used to identify how the NICU environment potentially influences the microbiome high-risk term and preterm infants. • Results indicated the microbiome of high-risk and preterm neonates may be alters in various modes. Potential factors include the NICU environment, cleaning infection control cleaning practices, human milk, general contact/skin on skin contact with healthcare providers, caregivers, and parents.
