Master Scheduler: Plan production for all Waterjet pumps and small assembly production. Maintain stocking strategy for all of our +6,000 products. Manage the current ECO list, priority and meetings. Update weekly and month metrics; Failure to Promise, Cycle Count Accuracy, Inventory Turns, Gap to Plan, Capacity Utilization, Stock Outs, etc. With the S&OP forecasts, I model our future production planning and capacity planning for the S&OP meetings with the known constraints, rates, and stocking strategy. I prepare "what-if" unconstrained/constrained analysis on "upside" volume to determine whether or not the volume can be achieved. After I update the models, I review, communicate and interpret the output of the capacity and inventory models to management. I maintain several key planning parameters in the Oracle system with a constant optimizing the sizing for all of our stocking strategy.

I manage the two retail Demand Planners here at Michael Foods. We run TPR models, MLR models and time series models on our material, material/DC, material/customer level depending on the volume and variability. We forecast 18 months out by month and week for each item and item/DC combination. We forecast 18 months out by month and week for each item and item/DC combination. We run several weekly reports to track our forecasts again shipments and open orders to identify any risk financially against our HWTW financial volume and the possible impacts to our supply side. After our forecasting process, we conduct customer level pre-consensus meetings, as well as an overall consensus meeting with upper management to present the changes form the prior month, new information, and our gap to the annual plan. Then we publish the forecast to the supply chain for their production planning, warehouse planning, STO planning, and other down stream activities. I also manage one Master Planner. I build and maintain capacity planning models with the known constraints, rates, and the mathematical updated targeted days on hand. I prepare "what-if" unconstrained/constrained analysis on "upside" volume to determine whether or not the volume can be achieved. After I update the models, I review, communicate and interpret the output of the capacity and inventory models to management. I also manage one Production Planer for our liquid egg lines. We develop our production schedule based on targeted days on hand and the forecast while respecting the production frequency for our specialty eggs and minimum lot sizes. I maintain the Targeted Days on hand and other master data within SAP. After the production volumes are determined, I run models to translate the production volume into pallet projections for our Warehouse department as well at STO movements for our Transportation department. I also help in reporting for the Purchasing department to help them in packaging and ingredient purchases.
