Being a Customer Service Officer (CSO) requires a great amount of multitasking. I am the customer’s first point of contact, therefore a positive attitude is always necessary. I act as a liaison between the customer and the City of Stirling. It is my job to provide product and service information, resolving any emerging problems that may occur. Patience is critical when working with the general public. A large proportion of our patrons are of non- English speaking background or are handicapped to some extent. I am able to handle customer complaints with empathy and provide an appropriate solution within a timely manner. Answering phone calls and emails, Microsoft Office, multitasking, cashing handling, retail sales and service sales are just some of the receptionist skills I have acquired through experience.

VenuesWest is Western Australia’s largest sports venue provider, managing 13 sport, recreation and entertainment centers. VenuesWest strive to deliver world class sport and entertainment experiences for the customers and stakeholders. My role within VenuesWest was within the HR department. I completed a large variety of HR tasks gaining a great understanding of all aspects of the HR department. Some tasks that were completed while interning include: The creation of new employee and recruitment files, filing, auditing, creation of VenuesWest HR values, research the benefits/ costs of internal vs external training, creating excel shortlisting from RAMS, electronic filling of expenses, training records & scanned recruitment files, processing termination forms & coordination of end of employment, payment of training invoices, transferring data from forms to excel spreadsheets and attend recruitment meetings. Professionalism is vital within the corporate world. I believe I have the appropriate communication skills, the ability to understand social cues and how to present myself appropriately.
