Duties included meeting with customers to gather and assess requirements, present a project proposal, work with the customer from the programming phase through design development, prepare construction documentation and coordinate with the customer through construction and occupation. Prepared construction drawings using AutoCAD software; incorporating demolition, construction, telephone and data, electrical and panel plans, reflected ceiling plans, lighting plans, furniture, fixtures, and equipment, finishes, life safety and fire protection compliance, security, assets and personnel. Coordinated with space management and facilities teams to ensure jobs were designed to uphold building and industry codes and standards, and construction was completed properly while adhering to the Departmental Directive's criteria. Completed Independent Government Estimates and IDIQ estimates for each construction job. Updated and maintained "As-Builts" in AutoCAD for all headquarters and leased buildings following each construction job.
