I work closely with clinical team to conduct research into how motor and cognitive dysfunction due to neurodegenerative conditions affects typing. Using raw keystroke data, I translate this research into features which are then used to develop structured keystroke biosignatures. These biosignatures are then used as inputs to a machine learning algorithm which outputs interpretable and quantifiable digital biomarkers for the identification of motor and cognitive decline.
