Taproom Manager
-
Jan 2019 - Sep 2019
Starting with the company, my role was the bar and marketing manager for a location that was to open in February, 2019. Many roles were played in the starting of this beer hall. The position started by being part of the hiring team. Holding interviews, organizing paperwork and making sound hiring choices are all assets I gained. Shortly after, the role started to focus on building the training information and successfully teaching it to the new team we had hired. Once the team was properly trained the role dove into bar design and products that would adhere to the market climate to the north side of Indianapolis. Once we were up and operational, daily patterns were created. Daily tasks included communicating all the information to my team that they would need to have a successful shift. Providing excellent leadership skills by lending a helping hand was a huge part of my success in this role. Every day would require fact checking finances from the previous business day and distributing through the restaurant as needed. Daily I learned to keep a level face when leading a team under constant changing scenarios. March, 2019 my boss asked if I would take on a larger role. Two weeks later I was leading a team at our only brewing location and asked to rebrand the dining area and staff as a full-service brewery. This position brought a new situation every single day. I was in charge of creating and training material, maintaining all product inventory and ordering.

Bar Manager
-
Feb 2018 - Oct 2018
Starting this position, I was hired as a bartender. A week after I started, the owner came to me and asked that I take over the bar as the bar manager. He explained how the old manager did not preform and there was alot to catch up on. Inventory lists needed built and much was needing organized. I happily took this position and was eager for a tough role. I quickly dove in to building inventory data and controlling product orders. I took part in organizing large events and managing the beverage aspect of these events. This is everything from designing the menu to standing behind the bar serving the beverages. I loved the daily differences in this position. Long hours and ever changing scenarios providing a fast pace environment that required a level head and critical thinking to succeed in.

Corporate Trainer
-
Jun 2014 - Mar 2018
I grew to a corporate trainer within this company. I started in 2014 as a waitress. Duties included multi-tasking and providing excellent customer service for long hours. The next year I turned 21 and was immediately placed in training behind the bar. Here I learned the true art of multi-tasking. I was in charge of guests around the bar, making beverages for the entire dining room and handling large amounts of cash with constant unkowns arising. By 2017, I was asked by the corporate team to join the traveling trainers and be part of opening new loations. This role was very long hours with weeks away from home. Tasks included training team and providing a stimulating environment for learning.
