Over the summer I worked with autistic children as a care worker in the summer play scheme. My responsibilities included giving the children exciting play experiences in a safe environment. These activities included arts and craft, games and physical activities. This encouraged friendships and developed social/life skills e.g. baking and using public transport by accompanying children on trips.
