Implementation of the South Africa HR Strategy. Support HR Leader to develop HR strategies, goals, initiatives and objectives, and ensure the timely and effective delivery thereof. Drive the HR agenda within the BUs, ensuring that all people managers are equipped and able to deliver against the annual recurring people management requirements. Ensure compliance to HR policies and relevant legislation. Identify opportunities for updating and enhancing HR policies, processes and procedures to effect continual improvements in the company. Ensure timely and effective delivery of ad hoc HR projects as and when required Roll out, on-board and maintain MMC HR policies and workstreams as required. Produce monthly and quarterly reports for the divisions supported. Be the BU’s point of contact for Employee Relations and pragmatically manage overall workplace discipline including poor performance management aligned to company policies, legislation and leading ER practices. Gives accurate and appropriate advice, training and support to managers who are managing performance/disciplinary issues. Ensure active management of poor performers in business areas Have a solid understanding and ability to execute on total rewards and compensation methodology and frameworks. Advise on and coordinate remuneration practices (including ensuring regular updates of salary surveys for the division). Support and facilitate the Annual Total Compensation Review process. Facilitate the drafting, implementation and tracking of divisional transformation plans supporting business. Support business in identifying training needs and formulating and implementing Personal Development Plans. Encourage participation in Company learning initiatives. Support and partner with the Talent, Learning and Inclusion team to deploy key programmes to target audiences. Facilitate and drive employee engagement. Analyse insights from colleague surveys to drive and support employee engagement. Show less
