  During my time as Events and Marketing Coordinator - I got to positively engage with the Nelson/Tasman community by working with my team to bring the very best in film entertainment! - Liaison with production companies in regards to promotion of new films: creating promotional activities, distribution of advertising materials, reporting. A typical week for me included creating radio, print and web media advertising - which meant a combination of copywriting, graphic design, social media management & SEO My passion was identifying & facilitating opportunities for independent film showcases across State Cinemas & The Pastorius Waller Theatre at the Bishop Suter Art Gallery, from community events through to internationally recognised film showcases. A highlight was general events management; and getting to be on the ground for opening night Gala events for events such as the Cinema Italiano Italian Film Festival, the French Film Festival Aotearoa, the New Zealand International Film Festival.
